Meet the Team:

Brett E. Blumstein, Esq.

Attorney Brett E. Blumstein, founder of the law offices of Brett E. Blumstein, P.C., was born and raised in Southern California. He received his undergraduate degree in Economics at U.C. Irvine and received his Law degree from Loyola Law School. He is a member of the California State Bar.

Mr. Blumstein concentrates his legal practice on personal injury cases, employment cases, federal employee issues, and intellectual property cases. He has counseled and assisted injured individuals statewide and injured employees globally. He has also founded Federal Esquire, a division of his firm specifically devoted to assisting federal employees. Mr. Blumstein is dedicated to ensuring that all of his clients receive competent legal assistance.

Jerl Leutz, Esq.

Jerl Leutz has practiced law since 2007. In the past, Mr. Leutz worked in another challenging capacity, as a civil litigator. Being a litigator allowed Jerl to hone his analytical skills, and he simultaneously built a new skillset that has evolved into, among other things, addressing and defending the special needs of disabled workers in Social Security matters.

Mr. Leutz also maintains an independent business law practice of his own, which touches upon intellectual property, corporate practice, employment practices, internet business, and related transactional disciplines.

Mr. Leutz is admitted to practice in both the State Courts of California and the Federal Courts of the Central, Southern and Northern Districts of the Ninth Circuit in California. He is fluent in Spanish.

Jason Cole, Esq.

Attorney Jason Cole has approximately 12 years of civil litigation experience representing both plaintiffs and defendants in a wide range of legal matters, including: personal injury, wrongful death, premises liability, products liability, transportation, professional liability (medical malpractice, real estate/insurance broker/agent negligence), employment, insurance matters, construction defect, ADA and related state claims, real estate and business/commercial disputes (contracts, intellectual property, unfair business practices).

Having worked as a defense attorney for the first 10 years of his legal career, Mr. Cole brings a unique perspective and ability to effectively and efficiently navigate legal disputes and deliver excellent results for his clients.

Mr. Cole received his undergraduate degree from the University of California, Santa Barbara in 1995. He received his law degree in 2001 from Loyola Law School, Los Angeles.
